The Black Box FlexPoint ME662ASST converts RS-232 serial signals to singlemode fiber for long-distance links. It autosenses speeds up to 115.2 kbps and supports both half- and full-duplex operation. The module works as a standalone unit or as a hot-swappable card in a 19-inch rackmount chassis. DTE/DCE configuration simplifies straight-through cabling to either device type.
