SKU CH-CGPG-TWG27

Five purple Cat6 keystone inline couplers extend Ethernet links tool-free with gold-plated contacts for gigabit speeds

  • Slim design fits side-by-side in multi-port wall plates
  • Backward compatible with Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 cables
  • Gold-plated pure copper contacts deliver 1000 Mbps gigabit speed
  • Tool-free female-to-female connection extends cable runs instantly
  • UL listed and compliant with T568A and T568B wiring standards

Compact Coupler Five-Pack

This five-pack of purple RJ45 keystone inline couplers extends Ethernet links by joining two male cables without tools. The slim profile lets multiple units sit side-by-side in standard wall plates or patch panels, making them suited for installers and home users who need quick cable extensions in tight spaces.

Sustained Signal Integrity

Gold-plated pure copper contacts and flame-retardant ABS housing maintain 1000 Mbps gigabit throughput under continuous load. The couplers meet Category 6 performance in compliance with T568A and T568B wiring standards and support Power over Ethernet, so extended runs keep full bandwidth and power delivery during long transfers or always-on device operation.

Category 6 Compliance

The single specification that decides fit is Category 6 certification with backward compatibility to Cat5e and Cat5 cabling. Buyers whose infrastructure demands higher than Cat6 performance or who require shielded connections for noisy environments will need different components.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the coupler generate when PoE runs through it all day?

The gold-plated copper contacts and ABS housing are rated for gigabit speeds and PoE without signal loss, so heat remains negligible during continuous use.

What cables must I already have to use these purple keystone couplers?

You need two male-terminated Cat6, Cat5e or Cat5 patch cords per coupler to create a female-to-female inline connection.

Will a legacy Cat5 cable slow the link when paired with a Cat6 run through this coupler?

The coupler meets T568A and T568B Category 6 performance, so the link runs at the lowest cable category present — Cat5 caps at 100 Mbps while Cat5e or Cat6 reaches 1000 Mbps.
