Players moving up from a simple overdrive or running straight into an amp gain a wider dynamic range and a choice of two distinct voicings. The High Peak mode lifts low frequencies and adds a 3.5KHz mid push for more presence. The Low Peak mode colours the original tone for transparent boosting. The jump is worth it when a single pedal must cover both rhythm grit and lead sustain.

Simple pedalboard integration

The mini metal enclosure slots onto crowded boards without crowding neighbouring pedals. A standard 9V DC centre-negative supply powers the unit; the 6mA minimum draw is modest for most isolated supplies. True bypass switching removes the circuit entirely when disengaged.
