Outdoor Direct-Burial Ethernet Cable

This 250 ft Cat 6 cable is built for permanent outdoor runs and direct burial without conduit. Its LLDPE jacket resists UV light, water and abrasion so the link stays reliable in extreme cold or heat. The CCA conductors and UTP design target installers who need a single spool for long-distance networking between buildings, cameras or access points. It is not suited for buyers who need pure copper conductors for PoE loads beyond the cable’s rated capability.

Capacity and Headroom

The 24 AWG solid-core construction supports up to 10 Gbps at 550 MHz across the full 250 ft length. Four twisted pairs minimise crosstalk, giving stable throughput for gigabit and multi-gigabit links. At 100 ft the margin is generous; beyond 250 ft the 10 Gbps ceiling cannot be guaranteed and signal quality will degrade. Users who require certified performance past this distance should look elsewhere.

Bundled Accessories

Twenty cable ties are included for securing the run along walls, poles or trench paths. Gold-plated 8P8C RJ45 connectors with flexible tabs simplify termination and withstand repeated insertion cycles.
