Cat 6 outdoor cable with double jacket for direct burial, solid CCA conductors and 25 ties included
This 100 ft white Cat 6 cable uses solid CCA conductors and gold-plated RJ45 plugs. A double jacket combines a PVC inner layer with a UV-resistant LLDPE outer layer rated for direct burial. The bundle includes 25 cable ties for securing runs along walls or through conduit.
Indoor patch cables lack UV protection and a burial-rated jacket, so they degrade in sunlight, moisture and soil. This cable replaces them when the run goes outside, underground or through harsh environments. The jump is worth it whenever the path exceeds the shelter of a building interior.
At the supplied 100 ft length the cable supports 1 Gbps at 250 MHz with clean signal integrity. Shorter runs under 180 ft can carry 10 Gbps at 550 MHz. The solid 24 AWG conductors and cross separator keep crosstalk low, but the CCA construction and UTP design limit use where pure copper or shielded cable is required.
No published specifications for this item yet.
The finished cable measures 6.8 mm overall (5.4 mm PVC inner jacket plus 1.4 mm UV-resistant LLDPE outer jacket), so size your conduit or drill bits for at least 7 mm clearance.
Strip only the length needed, keep the cross separator and pair twists as close to the contacts as practical, and use a ratchet crimper designed for solid-core Cat 6 to seat the gold-plated pins evenly.
Inspect the LLDPE outer jacket for cuts or UV cracking, verify the stress-relief boots at each RJ45 end remain tight, and re-secure any of the 25 included ties that have loosened from ground movement.
