12 V 600 W switching supply for fixed 12 V loads

This BFKK unit converts 110 V or 220 V AC to a regulated 12 V DC output rated at 50 A and 600 W peak. Continuous 40 A 480 W limit protects the converter

Although the nameplate shows 50 A peak, the manufacturer advises restricting resistive loads to 40 A (480 W) for sustained operation. Motor-driven devices such as pumps can draw starting currents several times their rated value, so the supply should only be used where the peak demand stays within the 600 W ceiling. Overload, over-voltage, leakage and short-circuit protections shut the unit down if those limits are exceeded. Replaces smaller 12 V adapters when current demand
