Portable 1/10 HP Transfer Pump

The BFKK 115 V AC utility pump moves up to 330 gallons per hour with a 1/10 horsepower motor. It includes two 6 ft hoses and a strainer that can draw water down to 1/8 inch. The unit is built with a metal body, zinc-alloy volute and copper-wire motor for corrosion resistance. A waterproof on/off switch and 6.4 ft power cord add convenience for garden, pool or aquarium tasks.

Included Hoses and Strainer

Two 6 ft suction hoses connect directly to the labelled inlet and outlet ports, removing the need to source separate tubing. The strainer attachment enables low-level suction so rain barrels or hot tubs can be drained closer to the bottom. The manufacturer notes that only the supplied hoses should be used on the inlet side to maintain performance. Priming the pump with water or edible oil before starting is required to avoid dry running.

Flow Capacity and Head Limit

The pump delivers 5.5 gallons per minute at open discharge and can lift water a maximum of 42 ft; flow decreases as the vertical distance increases. It is suited for transferring water from pools, aquariums, rain barrels or hot tubs where the total head stays within that limit. The 115 V 60 Hz supply and 1/10 HP rating define the power envelope, so installations needing higher pressure or continuous heavy-duty cycles fall outside its design range.
