High-Cut Impact Gloves

The BDG grey HPPE gloves carry an ANSI/ISEA cut level A8 rating and an abrasion level 6 rating for demanding hand protection. A sandy nitrile palm coating provides grip in dry and light-oil conditions. Certified to ANSI/ISEA 138, they deliver an impact force rating of 6.5 N across the back of the hand. Sold as a single pair in size XL (10).

Industrial And Mechanical Users

Workers handling sharp metal, glass or rough materials gain the high cut and abrasion resistance these gloves provide. The impact-rated back suits tasks where knocks and pinch points are common. They are not insulated, so cold-store or freezer work requires a different liner. The palm-only coating leaves the back of the hand uncoated, which may not suit applications needing full-hand chemical resistance.

Capacity And Limits

One pair covers general-purpose assembly, material handling and maintenance where cut, abrasion and impact hazards overlap. The A8 cut rating handles severe edge exposure, while level 6 abrasion extends wear life on rough surfaces. The 6.5 N impact rating protects metacarpals during incidental strikes. They are not designed for heavy chemical immersion, high-heat contact or electrical work, and offer no thermal insulation.
