Goatskin Gauntlet with FR120 Thinsulate

These gloves combine full goatskin leather with an FR120 Thinsulate insulation layer and a Kevlar stitched cut-resistant liner. They meet ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 cut level A5 and ANSI/ISEA 138-2019 impact level 2. The gauntlet cuff extends coverage past the wrist for workers needing forearm protection in cold or hazardous conditions.

Cut A5 Impact 2 Capacity and Limits

The A5 cut rating handles sharp edges in metal fabrication, glass handling and heavy assembly where laceration risk is high. Impact level 2 absorbs moderate knuckle and finger blows from tools or falling objects. The FR120 Thinsulate liner provides warmth in low temperatures but is not rated for direct flame contact or extreme heat exposure beyond the material limits.

Upgrade from Standard Leather Drivers

This model replaces basic unlined leather drivers that lack cut liners, impact pads or insulated cuffs. The jump is worth it when the job adds cold storage, sharp material handling or pinch-point impact to the usual abrasion risks. Workers who only need abrasion resistance without cut, impact or cold hazards will find the extra liner bulk unnecessary.
