Retro Console to HDMI Converter

This Bcrokory adapter converts composite and S-video signals from legacy consoles such as the PS1, PS2, N64, Wii and VHS players into 720P or 1080P HDMI output at 60Hz. It accepts PAL, NTSC and SECAM formats, making it suitable for owners of standard-definition sources who want to display them on modern screens without a dedicated upscaler. The unit is powered by a 5V Micro USB connection and includes all necessary cables in the box.

Male Connectors With Integrated Cabling

The converter features a male 4-pin S-video plug and male RCA plugs (yellow, white, red) on a single 80cm integrated cable, plus a 100cm HDMI cable and a 80cm USB power lead. A female-to-female RCA coupler is supplied for consoles that already have male RCA outputs. One button toggles between 720P and 1080P with a short press, while a long press cycles through 4:3, 16:9, 16:10 and Full aspect ratios. The device operates only from analogue source to HDMI display and cannot be used in reverse.

Upgrade From Direct Composite Inputs

This replaces a direct composite or S-video connection to a legacy TV input, removing the need for a display with analogue ports. The jump is worth it when the target screen only offers HDMI and the source material is 480i or 576i interlaced video. It will not help users who need to send an HDMI signal to an older analogue display, nor those requiring conversion from digital sources such as streaming sticks or PCs.
