Direct replacement for Polaroid cameras

The BatteryJack A24PX/532-T7 is a 3.0 V alkaline cell sized at 16.8 mm diameter by 42.4 mm height. It replaces V24PX, RPX24, EPX24, 2LR50 and 1308AP types. The single pack suits owners of Polaroid models 103, 104, 125, 135, 210, 215, 315, 320, 330, 420, 430, 440, M60 and Countdown 70.

Alkaline voltage drops under load

Alkaline chemistry delivers 3.0 V when fresh but voltage falls steadily as the cell discharges. Devices that require a flat discharge curve or regulated 3.0 V throughout the cycle may see reduced performance or early cut-off. The 16.8 mm by 42.4 mm form factor fits the PX24 compartment but cannot compensate for the inherent sloping output of alkaline cells.

Replaces mercury PX24 cells

This alkaline unit replaces the original mercury PX24 or No. 532 batteries used in the listed Polaroid cameras. The jump is worth it when the original mercury cells are unavailable and the camera’s exposure circuitry tolerates the higher initial voltage and sloping discharge. It is not for devices that demand a stable 3.0 V reference or for photographers who need consistent exposure across the full capacity of the cell.
