Universal 12 V adapter with ten tips

This AC-to-DC power supply accepts 100-240 V input and delivers a regulated 12 V output at up to 5 A for a maximum of 60 W. Ten interchangeable DC plugs cover tip sizes from 3.0 x 1.1 mm to 6.3 x 3.0 mm, including the common 5.5 x 2.5 mm and 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrels. It is designed for indoor use with LED strips, CCTV cameras, routers, modems, audio amplifiers and similar 12 V equipment. The unit is a power converter, not a battery charger, so it cannot recharge portable devices.

Steady 60 W output under continuous load

The adapter maintains its full 12 V 5 A rating during sustained operation rather than only in short bursts. Built-in overload, overcurrent, overvoltage and overheating protections engage automatically if the connected draw exceeds safe limits. This behaviour suits devices that run constantly, such as security cameras or network gear, without the voltage sag seen on lower-rated supplies. The wide 100-240 V input range also keeps output stable across different mains conditions.

Indoor-only design with passive cooling

The enclosure relies on natural convection and has no fan, so acoustic noise is effectively zero in normal use. Power draw from the wall matches the load up to the 60 W ceiling, with efficiency typical for a compact switch-mode supply. Because the housing is not waterproof, the unit must be installed in a dry indoor location. Over-temperature protection will shut the output down if ventilation is restricted, then restart automatically once the temperature falls.
