The Barco CSM-1 connects a meeting room display to user devices for wireless content sharing. It supports the ClickShare Button and a mobile app so presenters can put their screen on the main display with a single action. The unit handles all processing locally and allows up to two people to show content simultaneously. Dual-band 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz operation

The access point uses IEEE 802.11n on both 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz bands to balance range and throughput in typical office environments. Power comes from an included AC adapter so the base unit runs without drawing current from the display or a network switch. Normal operation is quiet and cool enough for tabletop or ceiling placement near the room screen.

300 Mbit/s maximum wireless rate

The 802.11n link tops out at 300 Mbit/s, which sets the practical ceiling for video quality and latency when mirroring a desktop or streaming from a mobile device.
