Adjustable-field photoelectric sensor

The Banner QS18VP6AF100Q is a rectangular proximity sensor that uses visible red LED background suppression to detect objects. It operates on 10-30 V dc and provides complementary PNP outputs through a 4-pin M8 pigtail quick-disconnect. The housing is ABS with an acrylic lens and carries NEMA 6 and IP67 ratings for harsh environments.

Sensing range and headroom

The adjustable cutoff spans 20-100 mm, giving reliable detection up to 100 mm against reflective backgrounds. Response time is 0.7 ms with 175 µs repeatability, suitable for fast-moving targets. Operating temperature reaches 55 °C at 95 % relative humidity, while a 200 ms power-up delay prevents false triggers during start-up.

Complementary PNP output
