All-purpose photoelectric sensor

The Banner QS18K6AF250Q8 is a rectangular proximity sensor with adjustable background suppression and a 250 mm sensing range. It operates on a 10-30 V dc supply and provides two configurable outputs, including push-pull with IO-Link. The housing uses ABS material with an M18 mount and an integral M12 quick-disconnect.

Integral M12 quick-disconnect and remote teach

The built-in Euro-style M12 connector simplifies wiring and replacement without tools. Remote teach capability allows the sensing distance to be set from the control side, reducing setup time on the machine. A visible red LED beam at 640 nm aids alignment during installation and maintenance.

Suits automated lines needing adjustable

This sensor fits applications that require precise detection up to 250 mm with configurable NPN or PNP outputs. It is not suited for intrinsically safe zones, hazardous-area certification requirements, or installations that demand a longer sensing distance than 250 mm.
