The Banjo 200POI centrifugal pump head is built for operators who need a 2 in. cast-iron volute and frame driven by a 5 hp gasoline engine. It suits agricultural transfer, irrigation and general dewatering where a self-contained pump head replaces a worn unit without changing the power source. Buyers who require an electric-motor mount or a different port size will need another model.

Cast iron construction with carbon ceramic seal

The volute, impeller housing and frame are all cast iron, giving the assembly structural rigidity for repeated seasonal use. A carbon ceramic mechanical seal separates the pumped liquid from the engine shaft, reducing leak risk during long runs. The 2 in. discharge and open impeller allow passage of suspended solids typical in surface-water applications, while the 12 ft maximum self-priming lift lets the unit prime from a suction hose without manual filling each start.

Flow and pressure profile for 5 hp operation

At 10 ft of head the pump delivers 150 gpm, falling to 147 gpm at 20 ft, 115 gpm at 40 ft, 80 gpm at 60 ft and 40 gpm at 80 ft. Maximum head reaches 50 ft and maximum discharge pressure is 45 psi, so the curve matches a 5 hp gasoline engine operating in its normal speed range. Engine noise and fuel consumption follow the engine manufacturer's specifications rather than the pump head itself.
