The Baldwin Filters P203-HD is a 20 micron cartridge element designed for hydraulic systems on Austin-Western, International, Dresser, Racine, Cessna and Challenger equipment. It measures 5-1/16 in height and length with a 4 17/32 in outside diameter and includes attached end seals, grommet and furnished gasket. Buyers who need a spin-on canister or a different thread size cannot use this element.

Sustained Contamination Control

The 20 micron rating captures particles continuously during extended hydraulic cycles rather than only during brief pressure spikes. Attached end seals and the furnished gasket maintain a consistent bypass seal as the element loads with debris over time. Systems that demand a finer micron rating or a higher dirt-holding capacity than this cartridge provides will require a different filter specification.

Cartridge Interface Limits

This element installs without threads, relying on the housing to compress the attached seals and grommet against the 1/2 in and 2 9/32 in inside diameters. The 4 17/32 in outside diameter sets the maximum housing bore, so any housing with a smaller bore or a different seal groove geometry will not accept the cartridge. Applications needing a threaded connection or a different overall length must select an alternative design.
