The Baldwin AL-317 Core Sliders are a pair of vinyl exercise gliders finished in black and grey. Each disc measures 8.7 inches by 5.1 inches by 0.67 inches and features a felt face for hard surfaces and a plastic face for carpet. They are designed for core, strength and mobility routines at home, in the gym or while travelling.

Upgrade from single-surface discs

Single-sided sliders limit training to one floor type and often scratch delicate finishes. These gliders remove that restriction by flipping between felt and plastic, so the same pair works on hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl and carpet. The jump is worth it when a workout space includes mixed flooring or when floor protection matters.

Limited by user friction and floor condition

The gliders rely on body weight and the floor's texture to create resistance; they cannot add load or adjust drag independently. On very plush carpet the plastic side may sink, reducing slide quality, while gritty or damaged hard floors can snag the felt. They also lack handles or straps, so hand and foot placement depends entirely on the user's coordination.
