Direct part marks such as dot peen, chemical etch or laser etch are captured regardless of surface, contrast or density. The kit includes a vibration-standard cradle and a shielded USB cable.

Capture Range and Limits

Workers can scan barcodes printed on labels or displayed on screens across a wide variety of surfaces. The scanner handles challenging direct part marks including inkjet mold, cast and thermal spray marks. Performance drops when codes are damaged beyond recognition or when extreme glare prevents a clear image. The cradle provides a fixed mount for hands-free operation at a workstation.
