The Axis F9114-R Mk II is a ruggedised 4-channel main unit built for vehicles and other high-vibration environments. It manages up to four sensor units simultaneously and performs AI-based analytics at the edge. Replaces four separate cameras and licences

One main unit replaces four conventional cameras while requiring only a single VMS licence instead of four. The jump is worth it when installation space is limited, vibration would damage standard housings, or total cost of ownership must be lowered through reduced cabling and licensing. Ignition control adds controlled shutdown for vehicle power cycles.

Handles 4K at 12 or 15 fps per channel

Each of the four channels supports up to 4K resolution at 12 or 15 fps with Zipstream H.264 and H.265 compression. The deep learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics for detection, classification, tracking and counting of humans and vehicle types. Storage profile optimisation matches Zipstream levels to the recorder. Buyers needing more than four channels or higher frame rates per channel should look elsewhere.
