Axiom aqua duplex fiber cable LC to LC 30 m

Axiom

Axiom AXG100073 LC/LC duplex OM4 50/125 fiber optic cable 30 m

SKU CH-KQTX-7DXJG

A 30 m LC/LC duplex OM4 50/125 fibre optic cable with aqua jacket for high-speed network links

  • TAA compliant for government procurement
  • LC duplex connectors on both ends
  • OM4 multimode 50/125 micron fiber
  • 30 metre length for extended runs
  • 43 feet supports 1 Gbit/s networking

30-metre LC duplex fibre for 10 Gbit/s links

This Axiom OM4 cable connects two LC male ports over 30 metres of 50/125 micron multimode fibre. It is built for network devices that require a duplex link at up to 1 Gbit/s. The aqua jacket identifies the OM4 rating in patch panels and racks. TAA compliance allows use in federal procurement projects.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

As a passive optical cable it draws no power and generates no heat or acoustic noise during operation. The 0.1 inch diameter keeps cable routing simple without blocking airflow in dense cabinets. No active components mean there is no thermal load to manage in the link budget.

Behaviour under sustained load

The glass core maintains signal integrity for continuous 1 Gbit/s traffic across the full 30 metre run without regeneration. Insertion loss stays within OM4 limits so bit-error rates remain stable during long transfers. The LC duplex connectors hold alignment through repeated mating cycles in production environments.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the LC male duplex connectors on this 30 m OM4 cable, and what is the common mistake?

Align the keyed LC duplex clips with the transceiver ports and push until both connectors click; the frequent error is inserting only one ferrule, leaving the second channel dark.

What maintenance or replacement will this 50/125 µm OM4 fiber need over time?

Inspect and clean the LC end-faces with a lint-free wipe and isopropyl alcohol whenever links are reconnected; replace the 35 m assembly if insertion loss exceeds the OM4 budget.

What limit appears first when running 1 Gbit/s continuously over this 98.43 ft single-mode duplex cable?

The 1 Gbit/s data-rate ceiling of the connected network devices is reached before any distance or bandwidth constraint of the 9/125 µm fiber itself.
