High-volume A3 document scanner

The Avision AD6090 is a duplex colour scanner built for offices that process thousands of pages every day. Its CIS sensor and LED light source capture A3 documents at up to 90 pages per minute or 180 images per minute at 300 dpi. A 150-page automatic document feeder handles standard 80 g/m² paper, and the unit is rated for a daily duty cycle of 20,000 pages. USB 3.1 provides the host connection for Windows XP through Windows 10.

Quiet operation and low standby power

While scanning, the unit emits less than 58 dB, dropping below 25 dB in standby so it stays unobtrusive in shared workspaces. Power is drawn from a universal AC 100–240 V supply at 50 or 60 Hz, with no separate high-wattage adapter required. The dual-lamp design illuminates wrinkled pages evenly without mercury, and hardware jam sensors stop the feed immediately when a misfeed is detected.

Bundled software expands output formats

The included iScan application adds OCR output to RTF, TXT, DOC, XLS, PPT and their modern XML variants, plus searchable PDF, XPS and HTML. Without the bundle the scanner still produces BMP, PNG, GIF, JPEG, single- and multi-page PDF, TIFF and multi-TIFF files directly. Ultrasonic multi-feed detection uses triple sensors to catch overlapping sheets by length or thickness, and a straight paper path handles plastic or ID cards without bending. Buyers who need network scanning or Mac and Linux drivers will not find them here.
