AVer VC520 Pro3 conference system

The AVer VC520 Pro3 combines a conference camera and a speakerphone into a single kit for meeting rooms that need integrated video and audio. It ships with a remote control, a power adapter and a 1.8 m power cord so the base unit can be placed near an outlet. A 5 m USB 2.0 cable connects the system to a host computer for UVC and UAC compatibility. A 10 m camera-to-speakerphone cable allows flexible placement across larger tables.

Thermals noise and power draw

The speakerphone draws power from the supplied adapter rather than the USB bus, keeping the host port within standard limits during normal calls. No active cooling is present, so the units run silently when idle or during typical voice pickup. The 3.5 mm aux cable supports an optional external audio source without adding noise. Power consumption remains low because the camera and speakerphone are designed for continuous office use.

Sustained load behaviour

During long meetings the camera maintains a steady video stream over the 5 m USB link without thermal throttling. The 10 m inter-device cable carries both power and data to the speakerphone, preventing voltage drop over extended sessions. The remote control lets participants adjust volume or mute without touching the host PC. The system stays responsive for the full duration of scheduled conferences.
