Dual-monitor KVM for laptop and desktop

This KVM switch connects two computers — a laptop via USB-C with MST and a desktop via HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-B — to a single dual-display workstation. It is built for users who split time between a portable machine and a stationary system and want one keyboard, mouse and monitor pair to control both. The aluminium chassis houses the switching logic and all shared peripheral ports.

One USB-C cable brings video, data and 60W charging

The laptop side uses a single USB-C connection that carries dual 4K@60Hz video through MST, moves data at up to 20Gbp/s and delivers up to 60W of power to the notebook. The desktop side requires three cables: HDMI in, DisplayPort in and USB-B. Shared peripherals plug into three USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB-C port, an SD card slot, Gigabit Ethernet, Toslink optical audio and a 3.5 mm headset jack, freeing the user from re-plugging devices when changing sources.

Replaces separate docks and manual cable swaps

Automatic PC wake-up and EDID simulation cut source changes to roughly 2-3 seconds, removing the need for a dedicated laptop dock and a separate desktop hub. The jump is worthwhile when a user runs two computers daily and wants mirrored macOS output or high-refresh Windows gaming at 1080P@240Hz, 165Hz, 144Hz or 120Hz and 2560×1440@144Hz or 120Hz without reconfiguring displays each time. Buyers who need independent macOS desktops or more than two video outputs should look elsewhere.
