This AUTYUE DisplayPort KVM switch lets two computers share one monitor, one keyboard, one mouse and up to four USB 3.0 peripherals such as printers, scanners or webcams. Switching is driver-free and can be done with the front-panel button or the included 1.5 m wired remote. No external power supply is required.
Upgrade from manual cable swapping
The switch replaces the need to physically unplug and reconnect DisplayPort and USB cables every time you change systems. It is worth the jump when you regularly move between two PCs and want instant switching without wearing out ports or hunting for cables. It does not suit setups that need more than two computers or more than one display connected at once.
Limits of the DisplayPort 1.4 interface
The unit passes DisplayPort 1.4 signals and is backward compatible with DP 1.2 sources. Maximum supported timings are 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, 3440 x 1440 at 144 Hz and 8K at 30 Hz. Higher refresh rates at 4K or any 8K rate above 30 Hz exceed the available bandwidth. USB peripherals are limited to the 5 Gbps speed of the USB 3.0 hub.
