8K 60 Hz HDMI 2.1 Audio Extractor

The AUBEAMTO unit takes one HDMI 2.1 input and provides a pass-through HDMI output plus four separate audio outputs: HDMI audio-only, Toslink optical, coaxial and a 3.5 mm jack. It handles video up to 5120x1440 at 120 Hz or 8K at 60 Hz with 48 Gbps bandwidth and supports 7.1-channel LPCM, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio on the HDMI audio port. Gamers connecting a PS5 or Xbox Series X to a display that lacks eARC will get full-resolution video while sending multichannel sound to an older AV receiver or soundbar.

Replaces basic stereo extractors

Older 1080p or 4K 60 Hz extractors cannot pass 4K 120 Hz RGB 4:4:4 or 8K 60 Hz signals, so they force a choice between high refresh-rate gaming and surround sound. This device keeps the full 48 Gbps path intact while de-embedding up to 7.1 channels over HDMI audio or 5.1 channels over Toslink and coaxial. The upgrade is worth it when your source outputs 4K 120 Hz or 8K 60 Hz and your audio gear only accepts S/PDIF or analogue stereo.

Check cable length and power before ordering

The manufacturer recommends AWG 30 HDMI 2.1 cables no longer than 6.6 ft on each side for 8K 60 Hz, with the same limit for 4K 120 Hz. A 5 V 1 A DC adapter is included and must be connected for reliable operation. Verify that your display and source both support the desired resolution and refresh rate, and that your AV receiver or soundbar accepts either Toslink, coaxial or 3.5 mm input for the channel count you need.
