Age of Towers: The Winx Expansion is the first add-on for the base game and is designed for players aged 14 and up. It introduces additional quest cards, event cards and monster content that deepen the strategic decisions each round. The expansion also includes the components required to add a fifth player to the table. Average playtime remains around 60 minutes.

Component quality and table impact

The expansion ships in a new condition and adds a set of cards and player pieces that integrate directly with the original game’s storage. No extra sleeves or organisers are required beyond what the base game already uses. Setup time increases only slightly because the new cards shuffle into existing decks and the fifth-player pieces sit alongside the standard four colours.

Gameplay pace and session length

With the extra quest and event cards the decision space widens, but the published average playtime of 60 minutes still holds for groups familiar with the core rules. The additional monster encounters create more frequent combat resolutions without extending the overall session.
