Replaces and upgrade trigger

This gauge replaces worn or inaccurate mechanical instruments on 1/2 in NPT male connections. The jump is worth it when the existing device can no longer hold the stated +/- 0.5 percent accuracy or when the case has corroded. The glass lens and white dial improve readability in bright or dim areas. No dry dampening feature means the liquid fill is the primary protection against pointer flutter.

Installation notes and common issues

The bottom-mounted 1/2 in NPT male thread screws directly into standard process taps; use appropriate sealant and avoid over-torquing the aluminum case. Because the unit ships dry, the installer must add the correct fill fluid before commissioning — skipping this step leaves the movement exposed to vibration damage. Verify the IP66 seal remains intact after wiring any optional switches. The black case colour matches most panel layouts but shows scratches if handled roughly.
