The Ashcroft 451279 is a new process compound gauge designed for technicians who need to measure both vacuum and pressure in a single instrument. Its 4 1/2 inch dial provides clear readings across the full range. The phenolic case and glass lens suit industrial environments where durability matters. It mounts via a 1/2 inch male NPT bottom connection.

Range 30 inHg to 150 psi accuracy ±0.5%

This gauge covers vacuum down to 30 inches of mercury and pressure up to 150 psi with an accuracy of ±0.5 percent of span. The white dial with black markings allows quick interpretation of compound readings. It handles typical HVAC, refrigeration and hydraulic test points comfortably. The range tops out at 150 psi so higher-pressure systems require a different gauge.

Dry phenolic case no vibration dampening

The gauge uses a dry phenolic case without liquid fill or built-in vibration dampening, so pointer flutter can occur on pulsating sources. The glass lens resists scratches and chemical exposure better than plastic alternatives. With no IP or NEMA rating, the unit should be shielded from wash-down or heavy dust. Power draw is not applicable for this mechanical instrument.
