Purpose-built replacement battery

The ArtisanPower 3.7V 3340mAh lithium-ion pack is manufactured as a direct replacement for Honeywell Captuvo SL42 and Captuvo Healthcare enterprise sleds. It restores full runtime to sleds used in clinical and retail workflows where the original BAT-EXTENDED-01, 70e-BTEC or 1/CP5/44/61-2 cells have degraded. New condition ensures the rated capacity is available from the first charge cycle.

Integration with the sled

The pack fits the existing battery bay without modification and connects to the sled's native charging circuit, so no external charger or firmware update is required. It supports the SL42 sled for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus but does not fit the iPhone 5 or 5s sled variant, leaving those devices unsupported. Panasonic cells made in Japan are assembled by Artisan Power to match the OEM form factor and voltage profile.

Sustained shift performance

Under continuous scanning and communication loads the 3340mAh capacity delivers a full shift of operation before recharge is needed, avoiding the mid-day swap that aging packs force. The lithium-ion chemistry maintains stable voltage through the discharge curve, so the sled's radio and imager stay active until the battery management system initiates a controlled shutdown. Heat generation remains within the sled's original thermal envelope.
