Low-Density Polyethylene Limits

The 2 mil LDPE film provides basic puncture resistance but will tear under sharp edges or heavy abrasion. VCI chemistry protects only surfaces the vapour can reach, so tightly nested parts may see reduced coverage. The material is not FDA compliant, so direct food contact is excluded. Users requiring electrostatic discharge shielding or moisture-barrier performance need a different film structure.
