Electric Float Switch Plug Replacement

This Aqua Plumb plug replaces the float switch on SSP12 and SSP13 pump models. It supplies a grounded 10 foot cord for direct electrical connection. The unit is sold individually and arrives in new condition.

Upgrading from a damaged original switch

The replacement restores automatic level control when the existing float plug fails or the cord is cut. It is not for pumps outside the SSP12 and SSP13 series or for installations needing a shorter lead.

Questions about this item

What plug type does the 10-foot cord end in for the SSP12 and SSP13 pumps?

The replacement cord is grounded, so it ends in a standard three-prong plug that fits a grounded outlet.

Which step is often missed when wiring the float-switch plug into the pump housing?

Securing the strain-relief grommet before tightening the cover keeps the 10-foot cord from pulling loose.
