The Aputure Spotlight Max kit converts compatible Bowens Mount point-source fixtures into a precision spotlight with a 36-degree lens. It is designed for professional photographers and filmmakers who need controlled, shapeable light projection on set. The kit includes a rotatable gobo holder and integrated shutters for framing and pattern effects. It ships in a rolling hard case for transport protection.

Optical Limits 60% Brightness Gain

The 36° lens produces a fixed beam angle that cannot be zoomed; other angles require separate lens purchases not included here. Advanced telecentric optics deliver a 60% increase in output over the standard Spotlight Mount while minimising distortion across the field. The modifier only works with high-output Bowens Mount fixtures such as the LS 600d Pro, LS 1200d Pro, Electro Storm CS15 and XT26. Lower-power Bowens lights will not achieve the same projection intensity.

Installation Shutters Gobos Case

Mounting follows the standard Bowens three-lug interface and locks securely onto supported fixtures. The rotatable gobo holder accepts standard patterns, and four built-in shutters adjust by hand to frame the beam. The rolling hard case organises the lens, shutters and holder, reducing the risk of lost parts on location. Users must ensure the fixture’s cooling vents remain unobstructed after the modifier is attached.
