The Appleton Century Crofts reducing bushing connects 3 inch and 3-1/2 inch threaded conduit in hazardous locations. It provides a female-to-male transition for IMC and threaded RMC systems. The fitting carries Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D ratings plus Class II and Class III approvals. Electricians and maintenance crews use it to adapt conduit sizes in classified areas.

Threaded transition for conduit builds

The bushing fits directly into a threaded conduit run with 3 inch FNPT and 3-1/2 inch MNPT ends. Its iron body with chromate, powder coat and electroplated finishes resists corrosion in harsh environments. The 1 7/16 inch overall length keeps the assembly compact inside enclosures. It eliminates the need for separate couplings when stepping between these two trade sizes.
