Quarter-Turn Stop Valve

The Apollo APXVS1238C20JR is a chrome-plated brass quarter-turn ball valve designed for point-of-use flow control. It connects 1/2 in. PEX tubing to a 3/8 in. compression outlet, allowing fixture maintenance without shutting down the entire water supply. Plumbers and DIY installers use it on dishwashers, toilets and faucets. It is not for applications requiring a full-port design or main-line shutoff capability.

Capacity and Headroom

The valve handles standard residential potable water pressure and integrates with ApolloPEX systems using copper crimps, stainless steel pin clamps or stainless steel crimp sleeves sold separately. It provides reliable on/off control for individual fixture supply lines. The 3/8 in. compression outlet limits flow to tubing or supply lines of that specific outside diameter. It cannot accommodate larger supply connections or high-volume distribution headers.

Thermals Noise and Power

As a passive mechanical valve, it draws no electrical power and produces no operational noise. The chrome-plated brass body withstands normal water temperature ranges found in potable and hydronic heating systems. No external energy source or active cooling is required for normal operation. California Proposition 65 warnings apply regarding chemical content.
