Apollo Oxygen Barrier PEX Pipe

ApolloPEX tubing is cross-linked polyethylene designed for radiant and hydronic heating systems. The orange colour identifies it for heating use. An oxygen diffusion barrier in the pipe wall limits oxygen permeation to protect ferrous components from corrosion. The 1000 ft coil supplies long continuous runs for residential or commercial projects.

System integration and space savings

The tubing works with ApolloPEX brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves and fasteners to form a complete piping system. Flexible coils reduce the number of joints needed compared with rigid pipe. Fewer connections lower potential leak points and cut installation time. The material is not intended for potable water supply lines.

Long-term heating performance

The oxygen barrier maintains its function throughout the system life, keeping dissolved oxygen levels low in closed-loop hydronic circuits. Cross-linked polyethylene resists scale build-up and withstands the temperature cycles typical of radiant floor heating. California Proposition 65 warnings apply because the product contains a chemical known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
