Brass two-way ball valve for water systems

This Apollo 77VLF14401 manual ball valve is built for residential and light-commercial plumbing where a reliable shut-off for water is required. The brass body and full-port stainless-steel ball deliver straight-through flow with minimal pressure drop. A lever handle provides simple quarter-turn operation without a locking mechanism.

Press connection simplifies copper tube installation

The press-end design removes the need for solder, flux or open flame, so the valve can be fitted on wet lines and in tight spaces where a torch is impractical. A two-piece body allows the valve to be serviced or replaced without cutting the surrounding pipework. Rated for vacuum service to 29 in Hg, it also suits low-pressure suction lines.

Handles 300 psi water pressure and 15 psi steam

At the stated 300 psi maximum operating pressure the valve comfortably covers typical municipal and boosted water supplies. The 15 psi steam rating limits use to very low-pressure steam only, so it is not suited to process-steam circuits. No combustible-gas rating is provided, so gas piping is outside its approved scope.
