This Anycubic PLA filament comes as two 1 kg spools in black, giving a total of 2 kg of material for fused-deposition modelling. The 1.75 mm diameter suits the vast majority of desktop FDM printers, and the +/- 0.02 mm tolerance keeps extrusion consistent across long prints. Each spool is dried for 24 hours and vacuum-sealed with desiccant to prevent moisture uptake.

Dimensional Tolerance and Spool Handling

The +/- 0.02 mm diameter tolerance limits how much the filament cross-section can vary, so flow rate stays predictable and the extruder does not grind or slip. A larger inner spool diameter reduces tight bends that cause snags, while the neat winding avoids crossed turns that lead to tangles and under-extrusion. These mechanical constraints matter more than any single material property when the printer runs unattended.

Mechanical Headroom for Everyday Parts

Tensile strength of 48±5 MPa and bending strength of 90±3 MPa provide enough rigidity for functional brackets, enclosures and low-stress gears. Elongation at break of 8±1 percent means the material snaps rather than stretches, so it is unsuitable for snap-fits or living hinges. Heat distortion at 54 °C rules out parts that sit near motors, heated chambers or direct sunlight.
