Upgrade from Lower-Class or Unapproved Fittings

The jump is worth it when system pressure approaches 2000 psi, when steam service at 300 psi is present, or when AAR, FM or UL listing is specified for the project. Installations that remain within lower pressure and temperature limits may not need this rating.
