The kit carries a Skill 2 rating, so it suits builders with some prior modelling experience. Paint and cement are required but not included in the box.

The kit provides multiple engine options including triple carburettors for a street version and a blown 454 for the drag variant, giving the builder meaningful choices that affect the final look. All parts are moulded in white unless otherwise noted, with chrome-plated small parts, black vinyl tires and metal axles adding realism without extra finishing steps. Pre-lettered drag slicks and a retro-styled full-colour decal sheet are included, reducing the need for aftermarket detailing during a long build.

Installation practicalities and common pitfalls

Assembly follows traditional glue-together construction, so a suitable plastic cement and basic modelling tools are essential before starting. The three-in-one layout means many alternate parts share the sprues; careful identification is needed to avoid fitting the wrong wheels, engine components or body panels for the chosen version. Missing the step of test-fitting before cementing can lead to alignment issues on the chrome parts and the vinyl tires, which do not accept paint as readily as the white plastic.
