3-Way MoCA 2.5 Splitter

The Amphenol ABS313H divides a single coaxial line into three paths for MoCA 2.5 networks. It operates from 5 MHz up to 1675 MHz to carry both video and data signals. The silver metal housing is built for indoor or outdoor mounting. Low insertion loss and high isolation keep each branch clean.

Upgrade from legacy splitters

Older splitters rated below 1675 MHz will choke MoCA 2.5 throughput and degrade video quality. Swap them when you add a third device or extend coverage to a new room. The 6 kV ring-wave surge withstand and 15 PSI sealed F-ports protect the line from transients and moisture ingress. Existing runs stay in place; only the splitter changes.

Practical limits of coax distribution

Every split adds insertion loss, so the third port reduces signal margin for the longest runs. Total throughput is shared across all active MoCA nodes on the coax plant. The 1675 MHz ceiling caps the maximum PHY rate the standard can deliver. Builders who need more than three drops or runs beyond the loss budget must plan amplification or a different topology.
