The American Weigh NUTRI FIT Flat IF1320B-NF-B is a digital bathroom scale designed for users who want detailed body-composition data at home. It measures weight and 16 additional metrics including body fat, muscle mass, bone mass, protein, BMI, BMR and visceral fat index. The scale supports multiple user profiles and a dedicated baby mode that also works for pets. Data syncs via Bluetooth 4.0 to the iMoni app and can be shared with Apple Health, Google Fit and Fitbit.

Step-On Setup and Common Issues

Installing the scale is straightforward: insert the four included 1.5v AAA batteries, place the unit on a hard flat floor and step on to activate the auto-calibration. The tempered glass platform must rest on a solid surface; carpet or uneven tiles will cause reading errors. Pairing with the app requires Android 4.3 or iOS 8.0 and Bluetooth 4.0 enabled on the phone. If the display shows low-battery or overload icons, replace all four cells at once and ensure the total load stays within the 400 lb limit.

Bluetooth 4.0 and App Limits

The scale communicates exclusively through Bluetooth 4.0, so the paired phone must be within a few metres during weigh-ins for data to transfer. Historical trends and line-chart analysis live inside the iMoni app; the 4.25 inch 7-in-1 backlit LCD shows only the current seven metrics without a phone. Unit changes between kg, lb and st:lb are made in the app or via the button on the underside. The scale stores readings locally until synced, but it cannot push data to cloud services without the mobile device present.
