The platform measures from 3 g to 5000 g in 1 g or 0.05 oz increments using four sensors. Units can be switched between grams, ounces, pounds and ounces, and millilitres on both the scale and the app. The weighing surface spans 8.46 in by 6.5 in by 0.7 in, limiting the size of bowls or trays that can be centred. Very light ingredients under 3 g and loads above 11 lb fall outside the reliable range.

Bundled app and coffee timer functions

The SmartApple app adds a coffee timer that shows bean-to-water ratios and records brew time alongside weight.
