Cat6A Direct Burial Ethernet Cable

This 23 AWG Cat6A bulk cable uses solid bare copper conductors with overall foil shielding (F/UTP) to suppress EMI and crosstalk. It is rated for 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps links up to 328 ft and provides bandwidth up to 750 MHz. The UV-resistant OSP jacket withstands direct burial, sunlight, snow and moisture for outdoor or underground runs. It also supports PoE++ 802.3 bt at 100 W for high-power devices.

Distance and bandwidth limits

The 10 Gbps rating holds only to 328 ft; longer runs drop to 1 Gbps. Maximum tested bandwidth is 750 MHz, verified with a DSX-8000 Versiv CableAnalyzer and compliant with ANSI/TIA 568.2 -E. The foil shield adds diameter and reduces flexibility compared with unshielded cable, so tight conduit fills need planning. PoE++ 100 W delivery assumes all four pairs meet the 23 AWG copper specification.

Upgrade from CCA or lower-category cable

This replaces copper-clad aluminium Cat5e or Cat6 runs that cannot guarantee 10 Gbps or 100 W PoE++ over distance. The jump is worth it when you need certified 750 MHz performance, direct-burial durability or full PoE++ 100 W headroom for cameras, access points or lighting. It is not for installers who only need short indoor patch cords or who cannot accommodate the larger shielded diameter in existing raceways.
