The Alesis G769 packs nine thickened silicone pads into a tabletop frame that weighs less than a kilogram. Three toms, two crashes, a hi-hat, a ride, a snare and a bass drum are all present, plus dual foot pedals for kick and hi-hat control. Built-in stereo speakers and a rechargeable battery deliver up to ten hours of play away from a socket. Seven timbres, ten demo songs and nine rhythms give immediate variety for practice or casual jamming.

Upgrade from Basic Practice Pads

Players moving up from a single practice pad or a toy kit gain full kit topology, velocity-sensitive surfaces and onboard sounds without needing a computer. The 4.2 mm pad thickness and wooden sticks add realistic rebound, while the 180-second recorder lets students capture progress. If you already own a module-driven electronic kit with mesh heads and advanced editing, this portable unit adds little new capability.
