AirSept 76212 A/C line splice

The AirSept 76212 is a high-side service tee designed for automotive air-conditioning and transmission lines with a 5/16 inch outer diameter. It connects existing tubing and adds a service port for pressure checks or refrigerant charging without cutting the system open. The kit includes the coupler body, nuts, sealing sleeves and anti-vibration tension rings. It suits technicians who need a permanent, leak-tested branch on aluminium or rubber lines.

Replaces flare unions and temporary test ports

A flare union seals a joint but leaves no access for gauges; a temporary Schrader tap can leak once the tool is removed. This splice installs once, stays in circuit and gives a permanent high-side port for diagnostics or top-ups. The jump is worth it when the vehicle returns for repeated A/C service or when the original line has no factory port. It is not for low-side suction lines or for systems that use a different tube diameter.

Aluminium body with rubber seals handles vibration

The aluminium coupler body resists corrosion from road salt and refrigerant oil while the rubber sealing sleeves and tension rings absorb engine vibration and thermal expansion. Under sustained load the joint maintains seal integrity through repeated pressure spikes from compressor cycling. It is not for continuous high-flow bypass circuits or for applications that exceed the pressure rating of the original A/C equipment.
