Questions about this item

What does the CAT-7 rating mean for my actual network speed?

The CAT-7 rating describes the cable's construction and shielding specification; the throughput you achieve depends on the capability of the router, switch, or network card at each end.

Which connector standard does this cable use and what does it limit?

It uses standard RJ45 connectors, so it plugs into any Gigabit Ethernet port; the link speed will not exceed the lowest rated port in the connection.
