FeatherWing OLED add-on for Feather boards
This FeatherWing adds a 128x32 monochrome OLED and three user buttons labelled A, B and C to any Feather main board. It connects using Feather Stacking Headers or Feather Female Headers on the top or bottom of the main board. The display measures about 1 inch diagonally and produces its own light, so no backlight is required.
OLED lifetime and display constraints
Each pixel is an organic LED that will begin to dim after being kept on for over 1000 hours. To preserve brightness, avoid leaving static images illuminated continuously. The 128x32 resolution limits the amount of text or graphics that can be shown at one time.
Simple header installation and common issues
Solder stacking or female headers onto the Wing and press it onto the Feather board, aligning the pins carefully. Misaligned pins or cold solder joints are the most frequent causes of a blank or flickering display. The onboard reset button and three tactile buttons require no extra wiring once the headers are seated.

Questions about this item
What resolution does the FeatherWing OLED provide?
The display uses 128x32 individual white OLED pixels, giving a crisp monochrome image without a backlight.
How does the self-emissive OLED affect power draw and contrast in a build?
Because each pixel makes its own light, no backlight is needed, which reduces power use and gives very high contrast.
What connector system lets me attach this wing to a Feather main board?
Feather Stacking Headers or Feather Female Headers let you plug the wing on top or bottom of any Feather board.
