Adafruit 2 in 1 Accessory 3-Channel 30A Relay Module 5V 12V 24V
Three-channel relay module switches up to 30 A at 250 V AC with selectable 5 V, 12 V or 24 V operation and opto-isolated high or low-level trigger
- Three isolated channels switch up to 30 A loads
- Selectable high or low trigger needs only 3 mA drive
- Operates from 5 V, 12 V or 24 V supplies
- Relay contacts rated for AC 250 V or DC 30 V
- Fault-tolerant design keeps relays off if control line breaks
3-Channel 30A Relay Module for 5V 12V 24V Systems
This 3-channel relay module provides bidirectional optocoupler isolation for microcontroller projects. It supports selectable high or low-level triggering with only 3 mA drive current per channel. The board operates from 5 V, 12 V or 24 V supply rails, making it suitable for hobbyist and industrial control tasks.
Contact Ratings and Load Headroom
Each channel uses a power relay rated for AC 250 V at 30 A and DC 30 V at 30 A on the normally open contacts. The three independent channels give comfortable headroom for switching motors, heaters or lighting loads within those limits. Exceeding 30 A per channel or the stated voltage ratings will cause contact damage and is not supported.
Operating Voltage Selection 5V 12V 24V
The module must be powered from a single DC source of 5 V, 12 V or 24 V chosen at purchase; the supply voltage determines coil drive and cannot be changed later. Selecting the wrong voltage will prevent the relays from pulling in or will destroy the drive circuitry.

Questions about this item
Will the 3-channel relay module work with my existing 5 V microcontroller I/O pins?
Yes, the module operates at 5 V and needs only 3 mA per channel, so a standard 5 V microcontroller I/O pin can drive each relay directly.
How can I verify each of the three relays is switching correctly after wiring?
Each channel has a red and blue signal indicator LED that lights when the corresponding relay is engaged, giving immediate visual confirmation.
Does the package include the terminal blocks for the nine relay output interfaces, or must I buy them separately?
All nine relay output interfaces already have terminal blocks fitted, so no separate connectors are required for wiring.
