Acer D605 replacement lamp module

The Acer D605 lamp module fits compatible Acer projectors and arrives as a complete housing with a new 195W P-VIP bulb inside. It is intended for owners who need a direct swap without reusing the old cage. The unit is manufactured to ISO9001 quality checks covering beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time. Installation is straightforward because the bulb and housing are pre-assembled.

Upgrade from a dim or expired lamp

This module replaces an original lamp that has reached the end of its rated life or has lost brightness over time. The jump is worth it when the projector image becomes noticeably darker or the lamp-hour counter approaches the rated limit. Depending on the version supplied, the bulb may come from the original manufacturer, from Acer’s own OEM source, from another OEM bulb maker, or from a leading third-party compatible line. All versions meet the same ISO9001 production standard.

Limits of the P-VIP 195W design

The lamp is rated for 5000 hours in standard mode and 10000 hours in eco mode, so actual life depends on which power setting the projector uses. A 195W P-VIP bulb generates significant heat and requires the projector’s original cooling system to function correctly. Brightness will gradually decline as the lamp ages, and the projector may refuse to strike once the internal timer exceeds the rated hours. No other lamp type or wattage is supported by this module.
